Abby had a pretty good sleep last night. Imovane is a wonderful drug. She slept on and off from midnight until 9:30 this morning, with the usual middle of the night checkups on babies. Here she is getting her morning "strip" with Rita, once of the great nurses here.
They run the fetal heart rate monitors on Abby for 10 or 20 minutes every day now to get a printout of the heart rate patterns. These "strips" of paper are then sent to the doctors for review. So far everything still looks good. The babies heart rate will climb up to 170 or 180 when they are moving and kicking, and it will slow when they poke or press their own umbilical cords. They now put a monitor on her uterus as well to look for contractions, and no movement there at all, which is great.Abby had a big breakfast (for her) this morning, of Cheerios, toast, a banana, OJ and coffee.

I think it's safe to say that everyone on this blog has never cared so much about Abby's bowel movements! Way to go Abby! Woo hoo! You go girl! David - perhaps you should consider posting pictures of those? Okay, perhaps not.
Seriously - we're so glad to hear the continuing encouraging news. Hang in there guys.
hi guys! I was showing Larry the blog just now - he says hello and sends his best. Nice picture of you Abby--you look great! I have a feeling that everything is going to be just fine! So...do the babies have names yet? hugs and kisses, Gina

Hi guys
Really good to hear that Ab is hanging in there and that the babes are still snuggled in tight. Hang in there. Mike says Hi and sends his best :)) Will check back in tomorrow. Thinking of you guys daily!! Niki
Hey Abby, so glad to hear that the babies still haven't made their grand entrance. My thoughts are with you guys.
Hello Abby and David,
We are now all up to speed on what has happened. We read the updates on every day so far.
Our thoughts are with all of you. Annabelle says she thought she had a tough labouring, she says it's nothing now compare to what you are going thruw.
I'm trying to find a joke to chear you up but can't find any. I just hope your room has lots of fresh hair conditioning to make you comfortable (hahahaha).
Seriously, we will be reading on all updates and think very much about you. Abby, you're a fighter, so don't get discouraged, once all said and done, you will enjoy several years of hapiness and parental madness.
Big big big hugs to you, what the heck, you too David. I guess you'll need me to go paint the baby's rooms.
Talk soon.
Steve
Sending lots of love and hugs and kisses to all four of you.
Can't wait to do it in person!
In the meantime, just hang in there
and bless you David for keeping us posted.
Lovin' ya lots, Lil

You are going to go from talking about Abby's poop to the babies poop as I swear that is all you talk about for the first year.
Sooo very glad to hear that everyone is doing great.

First, congrats to you both on a safe delivery, and twins, how wonderful!!
Hugs and my best to you and your "family" Abby, especially those 2 precious little angels.
