Well.. the good news is there is not much to update. Still here waiting. It's been one week today since we started this journey in the hospital in Vancouver, and have progressed from a statement that we would lose both babies to a much more hopeful gain of another week being pregnant. The doctors and nurses here are getting more positive here with each passing day, despite the seemingly endless set of complications. Tomorrow is Abby's 25th week, so that's a good thing. We are now practically famous here we've been here for so long. Doctors and nurses scheduled in other wards are now just dropping in to see if we are still here, and are always really happy to see Abby still here.

Top 10 Reasons To See A Silver Lining In All This:
10) You're in Edmonton and it's not the middle of winter.
9) You're in Edmonton and not in Michigan.
8) Medical staff in Alberta hospitals probably nowhere near as overworked and surly as they are in BC
7) You don't have to pick up dog poo
6) Can catch up on your soaps and Oprah
5) No more wondering "what should I wear today?"
4) Don't have to commute clear across town, saving $ in gas
3) Can pretend you're a queen with a staff of servants
2) Making up for lost quality time with David!
And the number one reason to see a silver lining in all this...
1) All these reminders that many people out here love you! (but I bet you knew that already!)
Lotsa Love,

Greetings from Florida Ab, Dave and Babies ! I'm glad to see your all doing well and just so you know in addition to positive thoughts I'm doing some down on my knees good ol' fashion black folk praying. I know everything is going to be fine and if you in the market for a nanny, I'm thinking about giving up the corporate world so keep me in mind !!
Thanks for the blog, you know how I worry.....love ros
